If you are the exception to the rule, look to see which undertone is more dominant, yellow/olive or pink/red.
There are occasions where blending more than one color works best for the perfect match. You are probably thinking, “That is a lot of work to match my skin!” In reality, most of us probably need to blend colors together. Just take a look at your face, there is probably more than one tone in your skin, especially if you have freckles.

The key with foundation is to find colors that are your skin’s true undertones. There are many shades of light browns on the market. Look and see if it is more beige or yellow since most redheads have a more pink undertone.
Try to avoid using foundations that are too pink or olive. The pink ones will accentuate the red that is already in your skin and the olive will make you look a little gray. Try using only a little yellow if you want to counteract the pink in your skin or just stick with beige tones to be on the safe side. If you have avoided wearing foundation because you can’t find the right shade, try using a tinted moisturizer to start. Just have fun trying things!!! Think of it like when you were in school playing with water colors, how fun it was to mix all the colors together!!!

When choosing colors, I find it best when shades have some gold in them. Like a soft brown gloss or lipstick that has a hint of peach will look gorgeous on fair Redhead skin tones!!!
