Concealer Tips Here is the 411...
What color concealer do I use? How much and when do I put it on? Before foundation or after? Hope you enjoy these concealer tips!
The general rule of thumb would be to see what foundation you decide on according to your skin color. Then, depending on what you are trying to cover, choose the right color of concealer. You can use concealer anywhere that you feel needs to be covered. The color of the concealer will not be too far off from your foundation of choice. Be careful to NOT go to light.
For example, if you are trying to minimize discoloration under your eye…..look to see what the blemish undertones are. Are they blueish/purple. pink/red, or tan/brown??
I find that concealers with a peach undertone or yellow undertones work best. Since they are opposite colors from purple, pink and browns.

A trick I picked up over the years is to blend a little moisturizer with your concealer so it will blend easier. Concealers are usually a little on the dry side, and we normally are using it under our eyes which need extra moisture. With lots of trials, I tend to find applying concealer after your foundation works the best. Why?? Because if you put concealer on first, then apply foundation, you will end up taking most of the concealer off by putting on your foundation. So you will save money and time by doing it after the foundation. Once you finished applying your concealer, then set it with a translucent powder to finish the look!!
