What's the best blush color for my skin tone?
With so many blush colors to choose from, which ones will work best with my complexion?To cater to this specific question, we decided it would be easier to break it down to your specific skin tone. Remember to have fun!! These are basic colors that we know will work for you. It doesn't mean you shouldn't experiment though!!
What blush makeup is best for my skin type?
Just like foundation, there are so many different types of blush to choose from. Do you go with cream, tinted, or powder? What about highlighting and contouring? When it comes to blush makeup, here are a couple of quick tips.
* During the winter months or if you have drier skin, try using a cream blush or a cheek stain, it looks as if it is coming from under the skin……..a perfect “Flushed” look. * If your skin is oily, using a powder blush will feel better on your skin. Remember when you saw your grandmother using lipstick for blush? We kind of chuckled inside. The idea for why they did it has some validity. How you say? Makeup Application Tips - How to apply blush makeup?
Quick tip: A great way to make sure you don’t apply too much blush is to put on lip color first and do the blush step last. This way you can see how to balance the color. We believe strongly in visuals. If you can see it being done, then you should be able to duplicate it "with practice of course". So enjoy all the videos that we will have posted (over the next couple of months) and develop your own makeup routine.
