This needs repeating, because I got ahead of myself... A pink or peach gloss or lipstick that has a touch of gold will look gorgeous on that African American beauty with medium skin tones!!! Try to stay away from very muted colors, like a light beige by itself. Light colors look great when it is lightly applied on your lower lip after you finish your lips. Whether you choose a great matte lipstick or a very high gloss, the choice is yours.
Try them all and see what works best for your own style!!! Quick Tip: If you choose to use a pencil, be careful not to over do the lip liner. The liner should not stand out, but blended nicely with the lip color you choose. These swatches are a good starting point for you in determining what colors work.Bring a friend that will be honest with you and have fun with it!
